By purchasing a Cardiff University Student Membership you can access all Cardiff University Sport fitness suites and strength and conditioning rooms (located at Sports Training Village / Fitness & Conditioning Centre).

The membership also includes a free fitness induction, no joining fee and access to our extensive fitness class programme at Studio 49.

Cardiff University students get 60% off gym memberships for the one off payment of just £85 giving you access for the remainder of 2024/25 academic year.

Student memberships are valid until 31 July 2025.

How to join
If you already have an acount with us
When asked, select "Yes, I have email address and password" and use your University email address (or email address you registered with) to login.  
If you do not know (or have forgotten) your Sport password click here to reset and use your full University email address.

Students not previously registered
Simply click the link below and select "Sign up for a membership" then select the student option.
Use your external email address if you do not have access to your University email yet.
Complete the basic details and when asked if you have email address and password, choose the option for "No, I am a new customer"
Complete the required fields (including your student ID number) and make payment to confirm your purchase.

Once you have become a member you will need to set a password for your online account.
Click here to set / reset a password. Use your registered email address provided to us when purchasing the membership. Your password is for Sport only and not linked to any previous University accounts.

Please note: when paying for your membership, complete and check all required security details including address and postcode. Your bank will need these to verify the transaction. If these are incorrect or do match your registered account the payment may be declined by your card provider.
